Plant Genomics and Bioinformatics – The power of long read sequencing

In our third OMIC Webinar we welcomed Boas Pucker, Post-Doctoral researcher at the Department of Plant Sciences of the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom. His speech focused on various long read sequencing applications in plant genomics.

Big Greek iGEM Meetup 2020

During the Meetup, Kostas Mathiopoulos, project coordinator of OMIC-Engine, presented a variety of synbio applications on insect pest control and one of our researchers, Constantine Garagounis, introduced the next generation of iGEMers to the principles of Synthetic Biology.
