About our courses

OMIC-Engine has developed specialised Training Schools covering a range of Synthetic Biology technologies and applications. These educational courses aim to promote interdisciplinary collaboration, attract new scientists and research groups and in parallel showcase the potential of Synthetic Biology in the industry sector.

OMIC-Engine has scheduled three weekly Training Schools with the following main topics:

​

  1. Bioinformatics & Modeling

  2. Omic Technologies

  3. DNA Assembly and Synthesis

 

Training Schools take place in OMIC-Engine’s Hubs, according to their research strategy, and they are open to both new and experienced researchers specialised in the field of Biotechnology, Bioinformatics, Bioengineering, Food Microbiology etc. Furthermore, during the educational courses, researchers have the ability to exploit OMIC-Engine’s infrastructure.
